Dani Author Pic
Dani’s passion for writing started at a very young age.  It all started with a multitude of diaries, then as her passion grew she turned to poetry and short stories.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree at USC in Theatre with an unofficial minor in writing.  While at USC she wrote her first screenplay and post-graduation was fortunate to be hired to write another screenplay.   As family life got busy her passion was pushed aside, but as she fell back into the love of reading her desire to write again increased, so she returned to it in the summer of 2013. She is currently working on a YA Urban Fantasy Romance series, The Life of Arie, with book 1 already published, and a Romance Novel to be released on March 17, 2014. Prologue
There was a time in my life when the light within me shined so brightly. At some point I lost it. I lost me. Life used to course through my veins like an out of control wildfire, unstoppable and infectious. Time was supposed to heal, but all it did was slowly strip me down to an empty vessel void of passion, desire, and drive. I wanted to scream, “Be the one to save me,” but my soul was drained, my heart was shattered, and time had siphoned the life out of me.

Forever Burn by Adrian J.Smith Blog Tour

Title: Forever Burn
Author: Adrian J. Smith
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Publication Date: March 2013

Firefighters are trained to keep calm in the face of extraordinary events, but James was never prepared for this.

Saving people is a regular practice in a firefighter’s line of work; it is not something extraordinary or unusual. Just routine. James has been trained to respond to emergency calls and what to do in difficult situations. For James, the most important part of her work is that she knows how to run into a burning building to save a life. She is a firefighter not for the glory and not for the honor. She is there to make a difference.

Working hard has always been a common practice for James, but when her secret significant other is pressuring her to solidify their relationship, tensions start to rise. James is being pushed into turning her life upside down and inside out. She can’t stop disturbing dreams about a little girl she saved from a house fire years prior. She struggles to find balance through the pressures and stressors of her daily life, but she still can’t shake the ill-fated feeling that something is wrong.

Adrian J. Smith, or “AJ” as she is often called, is a part-time writer with an epic imagination, sharp wit, and kind heart that gets her into a bit of trouble when it comes to taking in all the neighborhood stray cats. Being obsessed with science fiction, Smith often goes off on tangents about the space-time continuum. She is also a part-time lunatic with a secretive past. It’s been rumored that she was once a spy for the government, but anyone who has gotten close enough to know the truth has never lived to tell the tale. When traveling around the world on various classified tasks, Smith requires the following be provided: buffalo jerky, mimosas, and eighty-six pennies. This is all we know about the reclusive woman.

At least 10% of all proceeds goes to Sanctuary For Kids. It’s a fantastic organization that sends money to help children around the world. Charity and children are an extremely important part of Adrian’s life and supporting them in any way possible is magnificent. Dance by Teodora Kostova Blog Tour

Book Description:

Jared Hartley is happy. He has a starring role in a popular West End musical, great friends, adoring fans and his own flat in Central London. A relationship is not something he has ever really wanted. Making big plans for the future is not in his nature – Jared is content with his single status and enjoying all the benefits of that lifestyle.
He doesn’t even realise something is missing in his life.
Until he meets Fenix.

Fenix Bergman has a dream – to perform on Broadway. When he gets offered the lead role in Poison – a new musical based in London, he accepts, immediately recognising the huge potential of the show.

Fenix thinks he has his life completely figured out – he will move to London, help Poison become the new West End hit and bide his time until Broadway comes knocking on his door. He has never wished for anything else but proving to himself and the world that he is a performer worthy of the biggest theatre stage.
Until he meets Jared.

Jared and Fenix’s lives collide and they fill each other’s missing pieces. Neither of them expects to feel so much, so fast for the other.

Neither of them expects to need someone so badly when love hasn’t even been in their plans.

But when Fenix’s star becomes too bright for London, will the dream he’s chased all his life ruin the dream he’s holding in his hands?

Will he survive getting everything he’s ever wanted?

Will Jared?

Author bio:

Hi, my name is Teodora and I live in London with my husband Ted and my son Jason. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it became my full time job in 2010 when I decided that everything else I've tried bores me to death and I have to do what I've always wanted to do, but never had the guts to fully embrace. I've been a journalist, an editor, a personal assistant and an interior designer among another things, but as soon as the novelty of the new, exciting job wears off, I always go back to writing. Being twitchy, impatient, loud and hasty are not qualities that help a writer, because I have to sit alone, preferably still, and write for most of the day, but I absolutely love it. It's the only time that I'm truly at peace and the only thing I can do for more than ten minutes at a time - my son has a bigger attention span than me.
When I'm procrastinating, I like to go to the gym, cook Italian meals (and eat them), read, listen to rock music, watch indie movies and True Blood re-runs. Or, in the worst case scenario, get beaten at every Wii game by a six year old.

Music playlist

The idea for Dance was born in a single day when a lot of things happened almost at once – I went to a West End musical, saw the cover photo and listened to Fall Out Boy’s ‘Save Rock and Roll’ album for the first time. That album is the biggest musical inspiration for the book. I listened to it the whole time while writing and imagined ‘Poison’ as a Fall Out Boy inspired musical.
‘The Phoenix’ is Fenix’s song. It fits him so well! That last scene in the musical, the one from the cover shot, I imagined it with ‘My songs know what you did in the dark’ playing in the background. And there were a few days when I couldn’t listen to ‘Just One Yesterday’ without imagining Jared heartbroken and alone.
Shortly after I finished writing Dance, I went to see Fall Out Boy live and it was such an amazing experience. I felt their songs were already such a huge part of me, of my characters, of the story, that it felt different than every other live show I’ve seen.
I also listened to Fall Out Boy’s ‘Infinity On High’ a lot. I rediscovered that album while writing Dance. I hadn’t listened to it in ages and I remembered how much I used to love it. It was like rereading my favourite book and discovering some things I’ve missed the first time around.
I did listen to other music besides Fall Out Boy while writing. I have a new band crush, and lead singer crush, in the face of New Politics and their lead singer David Boyd. They are awesome! And David... God, the man is wild! They were supporting Fall Out Boy on their tour and I saw them live, too, and let me tell you – I’d pay just to see them next time! They sound incredible and David is a natural entertainer.
For the quieter moments in the book, I felt like I needed calmer music, which is not usually my style. I listened to a lot of Lorde, Ed Sheeran and Imagine Dragons, as well as BBC Radio One Live Lounge albums.

Here’s the full playlist for Dance.
